So if I statically assign an ip in a different subnet to the wireless adapter my computer will be able to &quot;talk&quot; to those two devices at once--while running windows xp home? &nbsp;I apologize but I've been avoiding setting my wireless statically because I a bit cloudy on the subject and I've lazily kept everything dynamic in the dhcp department.<br />

I recently purchased two Asus eee Boxes which run xp home and have built in wireless. &nbsp;My question is, can these be set-up to communicate to my sandbox device (via crossover cable)(this is my usual arrangement) AND be set to broadcast wirelessly as a peer to peer network? &nbsp;I remember reading somewhere that xp home only can only handle one network at a time??? &nbsp;The sandbox device has a set ip address.<br />
