In most of my cases the files that it was trying to index did not exist in the destination folder.<br />
<br />
The Best Option is is go to to Control Panel &gt;&nbsp;Indexing Options &gt;Modify and exclude the locations where there are maximum errors (preferably the complete folder).<br />
<br />
This should remove those the errors in the application logs.<br />

I recently upgraded from Trend Micro 3.6 to the WFBS product. &nbsp;Everything seemed to go OK but I now get about 120 errors in my daily Server Performance Report similar to below:<br />

Context: Application, SystemIndex Catalog<br />
Details: A device attached to the system is not functioning. (0x8007001f)<br />

Does anyone have any ideas about the cause, a possible fix and whether to worry about it ???<br />

Anti-virus software was originally developed to detect and remove computer viruses.
