Two PCs running Win XP Home belong to the workgroup MSHOME. Each PC is cabled to at least one printer. Now a desktop Mac is brought in and cabled to other printers. How do I get the Mac to join the MSHOME workgroup? How do I enable remote printing so that a PC user can print to the devices wired to the Mac and vice versa? I tried Network Magic for PC and for Mac, but I think the Mac still does not belong to the workgroup. Also, do I need different versions of drivers for the shared out printers depending on whether the user is at a PC or a Mac? I am almost totally unfamiliar with the Mac OS, screen view, etc so I scarcely know where to start. One reference book seems to state I need Windows Server to handle this. Suggestions and comments, please.
