I have a matrix report which shows
month month month etc
group n n n
group n n n
group n n n
X X X
But without the Xs. I need to add the Xs but don't seem to be able to
X would be the sum of n for a given month across all groups.

hmmm should have asked how I can use this total in a chart, it doesn't appear in the datasets as it's a derived value. Is there any way to do this? Happy to set up a new Q if needed
You can have total inside the chart point or legend depending on how you want to show it. More experts will participate if you put as new question becasue experts may think this is closed.
