anyway it would be a hardcoded manipulation of this entry<br />

i would recommend to alter the table to adjust the field-length, so that the field can contain the full entry as needed (gueesing the field is too small for the full entry)<br />

Yes TABS-IP-COLL is the full entry. You guessed right, the field is too small for the full entry. I am trying to find a way to achieve this without the changing the database.<br />
I cannot find the onGetText Event on the DBLookupComboBox nor on the TTable. where is this event? And could you provide an example of the code please. &nbsp;<br />
