how do you add a usb printer to a windows ce pro 5.0 thin client?

I'm trying to add a Brother HL-2040 printer to a thin client running windows CE Pro 5.0.
The manufacturer is Computer Labs international Model MT1200C25K

When I connect the printer via USB, then go into Setup Environment/Devices/Printers the only port I have to select from is Network. The manual says there should be USB, LPT and network. How do I get the USB port option to show?

CE is quite old and not stable.

That's the problem. I can't install the printer driver.
I have the driver stored on a USB thumb drive and nothing happens when I install the thumb drive into the thin client.

However, when I insert the USB cable from the printer to the thin client, a message saying "Unidentified USB device attached. Please specify driver: And then there is a blank where you can type something in".
I enter in Brother HL-2040 and it tells me "Unknown driver"

Your help has saved me hundreds of hours of internet surfing.

Nope. Just the thin client and printer.
I was discussing this with someone else, and he thinks its a compatibility issue with Windows CE.
I understand that Windows XPe has many more built in drivers and its easier to install new drivers.

Discovered the problem:
The Windows CE thin client did not have the appropriate USB drivers installed to recognize the device.
i think tankergoblin was trying to advise me to install the driver from a link that was provided, but it wouldn't work for some reason.

Anyway, I explained the situation to my boss and he ordered a thin client that has Windows XPe installed on it. Downloading and installing the new driver was a breeze.

Thank you for your help everyone!
