Lotus Rooms and Resources - Cant find free room/resource
Hi All,
I have setup the Rooms and Resources database in domino 7.02. I wish to use it to schedule meeting rooms and our company cars. Everything setup without a hitch and all agents are running, as are the necessary server tasks.
When I try to search room or resource availability it returns:
'No resource/room found for times and/or capacity requirements.'
I have triple checked that the information I enter is within the availability range.
I have setup the rooms for 24 hour availability and the # of attendees is lower than the room capacity.
I have found an IBM technote that states that the Site cannot have a comma in the name.
My Site name has no comma. I also made it very simple just in case.
Can anyone point me in the right direction to help me resolve this?
Everything seems correct.

The conflicts, if any, would be in the address book.
The site name does not have to match Lotus domain name.
Are you using standard out of the box 7.0.2 design template (RESRC7.NTF) for Rooms and Resources database ? Was it customized or upgraded?

do you get the same error trying to reserve a room from your mail and from the Rooms and Resources database itself?

Yes I do.
Funny thing happened.
It is mysteriously working now.
This will bother me for a long time I think.
I have changed nothing.
????
As I create more resources I will see if there is a delay and see if it has anything to do with replication.

Thank you very much fgrushevsky!
- RnRMgr task is running.
- Records have been created for the rooms in question in the mail in databse & resources area.
- Information is accurate in these resources.
We are replicating contacts between US and Switzerland, Australia, Austria, Czekoslovakia, Germany, and France. Could there be a conflict because of this? Also does the site name have to match the lotus domain name?
