Preserving links in .pdf documents

Last Modified: 2013-12-27
I have a 6,000 page Word Document. I went to create .pdf files of two page segments within this document that include links. I have been doing it by searching on key words to locate the two page section within the Word document I need, then selecting .pdf as my print option, indicating that I want to print only the next two pages in the document, and creating the .pdf file from the two pages "printed." My problem is that when the .pdf is created this way, the links do not work.

I cannot find a way that is nearly as time efficient using Adobe Acrobat directly. It does not appear to have a way to create a separate .pdf file of just a section of either a Word or an entire .pdf document. Any ideas out there?
