Wireless Configuration Windows XP

Have setup wireless on my laptop to static IP address at work and DHCP in the alternate configuration for home use, but it never connects at home. I thought this was the whole purpose of having alternate configuration?

You're correct. Take a look at this video to make sure you fully understand & have your NIC configred properly.
