Linux software to test quality of bandwidth over 24 hour period for voip calls

Hi, The idea is to run a 24hour test over a data line (e.g. ADSL) and get a report of the quality for voip calls at various times of the day. Any ideas welcome.

Tx.I'm looking for a very basic tool that I can run as a once off at the client to test the suitability of the WAN connection for VOIP calls. Typical setup: <-Quintum Device using SIP and pppoe->-<-ADSL->-<-Asterisk Server->
Any ideas please?
Iperf is good enough for you I guess then?

Tx. Please can you help me interpret the results:
1. Why do the Server and Client Bandwidth differ?
2. What ranges of jitter are acceptable for for good voip calls as want to assess the 38% Jitter.
3. What does this tell us? It seems that there is a big problem!

this could be the case, I really haven't used iperf. I always try to do my tests on the wire. Or if you have cisco phones you can look at them during a live call and see what the true performance is. The problem with that is that it doesn't give you metrics for a 24 hour period.
