Setting up connection to Exchange server 2003 with Outlook over internet

I currently have the iphone able to connect to exchange and it is also using SSL.  I would like to get my Outlook 2007 client to connect to my exchange 2003 server but for some reason it keeps saying disconnected.

When I open Outlook 2007 it asks for the password to connect.  The settings under connection in the exchange settings are as follows...

I have the "Connect to Microsoft Exchange using HTTP" checked.
Under the "Exchange Proxy Settings" button the following is checked...
I have the URL to connect as my exchange server
I have the checkbox marked "Connect using SSL only"
and have NTML Authentication.

I had the checkmark in both "On fast networks, connect using HTTP first, then connect using TCP/IP" but that didn't seem to change anything.

I can connect just fine using the OWA and the iphone but just can't seem to fix the exchange any ideas?

Thanks in advance

A common problem is not having the servers security certificate installed (Which you have to do manually and add to the 'Trusted Root Certificate Authorities')

You can do this easily from OWA, and an indicator that this is a problem will be if you are warned about the certificate then you first connect toi OWA.

If this doesn't work take a look at http://www.petri.co.il/configure_rpc_over_https_on_a_single_server.htm this is a very good guide and answers most problems.

I would start here:

https://www.testexchangeconnectivity.com/

This will allow you to test your Exchange Connectivity outside the network.  Can give some great insights as to where the problem is.

Well I just noticed that these tutorials say "Outlook 2003 RCP over HTTPS"  my client is Outlook 2007

Does this change things?  I tried thewebsite weareit and that is pretty nice but still seems like I'm missing something
No, once you're in 'Exchange Proxy Settings' 2007 is exactly the same as 2003. I ahve both 2003 and 2007 clients and they are both set up exactly the same way
I looked at some of the requirements for RCP over HTTP/S and it says that the server needs to be Windows 2003 server?  Is this true?  Mine is 2000 running Exchange 2003.
