Connect MD 1000 disk array to HP Proliant Server

I am trying to connect a new MD 1000 Dell disk array to a a HP proliant 360 Server. I have installed a Perc 6/e with raiser card to enable it to physically connect. My problem is that I can not set up the raid without the Dell Open Management software. The Dell open mangement can only be installed on Dell servers. iI rang Dell support and they said they do not support this configuration. They pointed me in the direction of finding a LSI Agent that may enable me too manage the array. But I am having no luck. I am looking for suggestion.
