need help with Bootstrapper manifest generator prerequiste maker Click once failed
I created a prerequisite out of windows media encoder with Bootstrapper manifest generator and it does instal windows media encoder but after it installs Setup throws an error in details it says
something very strange
Component WindowsMediaEncoder has failed to install with the following error message:
"The operation completed successfuly"
how do I teel setup that that is a good message not bad
I also need help telling bootstrap manifest generator not to instal windowsMediaEncoder if it is already installed

I don't think your right because when I tried reinstalling windows media encoder it tried to reinstall even though it was already installed

That is done automatically by ClickOnce. It would install the encode only if it is not installed already.
Regarding the error message, there is not much help available. Did you include the Windows Installer 4.5 in prerequisites?
