My small office has 3 or 4 XP Pro workstations, an NAS, a Cisco Router, and an ADSL modem. We'd like to be able to access files on the NAS from outside the LAN, securly via VPN or GoToMyPC or something along those lines. We'd also like to connect an MS Access 2007 database frontend to a backend on the NAS from outside the LAN.
Thanks for the info. I think we're going to try SQL Server Express 2008 with an Access frontend (which does not use bound forms btw).
Microsoft Access
Microsoft Access is a rapid application development (RAD) relational database tool. Access can be used for both desktop and web-based applications, and uses VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) as its coding language.
