I am currently running windows vista with several virtual pc's (each running a seperate group of apps i've devided by risk, etc.)...<br />

I would like though a better solution like just running an operating system and creating virtual environments for individual applications, this way; I do not have to mess around with os installation, etc...<br />

Does microsoft make an operating system that is designed for consumers/small-biz's (at least in regards to price) ... <br />

Microsoft Virtual Server was a virtualization solution that facilitated the creation of virtual machines on the Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows Server 2003 operating systems. Virtual machines are created and managed through a web-based interface that relies on Internet Information Services (IIS) or through a Windows client application tool called VMRCplus.
