Why does terminal services create two roaming user accounts?

Why does terminal services create two roaming user accounts and how can i stop it?

When the user logs on (For the first time) it creates one local user account and one roaming user account (user.V2) in our profile folder.
When the user logs off:
1. The local user profile is removed (This is fine)
2. A second user account is created in the profile folder but this time is named "user.DOMAIN.V2"
