Excel file become corrupt network drive
I administer a small office (5 users) and we all share access to a Drobo / Droboshare via the network... We are having a reoccurring problem where Excel files are getting totally corrupt. Excel tries to repair them and but the file just displays a bunch of binary data.
We have also had issues where the contents of certain directories were being corrupt as well... not accessible by any means (even from a unix machine via command line).
Since these issues came up, I reformatted the drobo and loaded everything back... all was well for the past few months, now some new Excel files are being corrupted again.
Where is the breakdown happening? What should I be looking for?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated...!

when you say shared, what exactly do you mean? The file is on a network drive and accessed by multiple people... but is there a property you were referring too?
Nikkoli... good tip, I will make sure the users are not copying in too much garbage, but I don't think they are...
