How do you backup your w2k8 web server using IIS 7.0?

Is using "appcmd add backup "nameofbackup?"  or do you use the windows backup utility or does it depend on whether you are running server core?

Well, the "AppCmd Add Backup" is only making a backup copy of web server's configuration....  you'll notice that it runs really fast (it's not backing up the contents of your web page)
Generally speaking, there 3 backups that need to be made...
  1. Backup of the IIS Service and related files
  2. Backup of the IIS Configuration (this is handled by the AppCmd)
  3. Backup of your web contents
So, you really need to perform a "real" backup using the built-in Backup utility (or a 3rd-party tool)

Thanks.  Could this be covered by simply backing up the entire Inetpub directory?  or is there more?
