Computer looses network connection

I have a computer on a SBS 2003 based domain.  It is an newish HP AMD based desktop (identical to two other mahcines on the network).  However, this machine seems to loose its network connection a few times a day.  In the event logs I am seeing a userenv error ID 1053) with the message: Windows cannot determine the user or computer name. (The RPC server is unavailable. ). Group Policy processing aborted. Around the same time, I am also seeing Event ID 15 (Autoenrollment) with a message that tells me Automatic certificate enrollment for local system failed to contact the active directory (0x8007003a).  The specified server cannot perform the requested operation.   Enrollment will not be performed.

Any ideas?

Lose it's connection as in "A Network Cable is unlougged?" error on screen by the Systray?
Or, just inability to connect to certain resources....?

Think we need to clarify that....

If it's a physical thing... Have you checked the cable to the wall? Connection to the switch (maybe try another port?)? Duplex settings on NIC? Does it match the Duplex settings on the switch port?

Assuming you have checked these, but still wanted to ask....
