How to Alert Me When Cisco ASA SLA Monitor Default Route Fails

Another question experts:  I have successfully set up SLA monitoring on a Cisco ASA5510 to create a redundant route to the Internet.  Now I need some help with monitoring the monitor.

How would one go about sending an email if the primary route fails and the default route is replaced with the backup?  I need to know so I can call the vendor and get it fixed.

I tried SNMP with no success.  I also looked at syslog.  Not sure of the easiest way to do this.

Any ideas???

Thanks for the suggestions.

I was hoping the firewall itself would create some kind of snmp trap or syslog entry when the default route changed.  These events can be monitored and trigger an email to let me know the primary ISP link is down.

It looks like I can set up a Kiwi syslog server and send myself an email when an event happens.  Thanks for the lead.
