Read folder from Microsoft Outlook using Java

Hi How do we read contents of e-mails in microsoft outlook using Java program.

All emails are in some specific folder.

How can we read e-mail from folder using Java program

outlook is a mail client so you can't read its mails.
what you can instead do is read the mail from the server that outlook is using via POP3 or IMAP

We are using some application in ASP from some different vendor. They are reading the folder and performing many tasks.

If they can do it. I don't believe that Java cannot read it
