Disable Table Resize Feature in Word 2003

jmg999 asked
Last Modified: 2012-08-14
I've created a table in Word 2003.  I know about hiding borders and gridlines, but I can't for the life of me find a way to hide the table resizing tabs when the table is moused over.  I've read close to 50 different sites about various topics relating to tables and resizing, but no one seems to hit on exactly what I'm trying to do.  I did find one that suggested I disable word wrapping, but that didn't solve the problem.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.
