asked on HP Cluster Setup - Cannot MSA external RAID disks
I am trying to setup a cluster to run SQL in Active/Passive mode. I have set the OS's on each server and joined them to the domain. Each server has all of the appropriate updates. I have 2 HP DL380 G5 servers and an MSA 2012i RAID array, using SAS connections. each server has 2 connections.
Could someone please help me to be able to configure the RAID types for the disks in the MSA 2012i. Do I need to install some software on the DL380 G5 servers to setup the RAID. I am confused on where to go from here.
Any guidance would be appreciated.
