Add Unallocated Space to partition

I just added some new storage to an existing logical drive on a RAID 5 array.  I can see the space now in disk management.  It shows as unallocated  space.  How can I add the unallocated to the existing partition.  Thanks.

How?
NPProjects

right click inside the space where is tells you the partition siz nd you should have an option to extend the volume.

Note this will only work if you have anallocated space of your drive.

From the management console I see Disk 0 C: partition and Unallocated.  If I right click in the unallocated it only gives me the option of new partition.  If I right click in the C partition I basically only get properties.
NPProjects

there should be an option to extend or shrink the volume in the c: partition.

what OS are you running? do you have extend/shrink volume in the menu but grayed out?

Ya that is what I was thinking.  Will partition magic extend the partition w/ the OS?

you should be having HP Array Configuration Utility.

go to start>programs>HP System tools>HP Array Configuration Utility>HP Array Configuration Utility

you may Use the Configuration Wizard to guide you through.

if you were able to set using the HP ACU, you may proceed using the DiskPart command for windows to extend your space.

here's a link for your reference.

diskpart will not run...the OS is on the same partition.

i see.. you want to extend the System Drive it is.

so your only option is to image and restore the Disk.

you may need a 3rd party software for this.
