Use SCOM (System Center Operations Manager) to find out Hard Drive free space
I have SCOM in my network and want to find out how much hard drive space has been available every month for the past several months.

Sounds like a good idea.
You can run a performance report with the top-n or bottom-n (25 or 50 or so) server with their free disk space to see which server are in the range you want to address.

Do you have any step by step on how to make that report. I am a novice when it comes to SCOM.

Can you be more specific? What hard drive space are you referring to? Your Root Management Server? Other servers in the environment? User end workstations? Also, what operating systems do you have running in your environment? Do you have the MP's installed for these systems?

I have 3 file servers that have ~5 logical drives each. I need to know what the Free Space is on each of the logical drives at a certain given time (like 1st of the month) for the past several months.
What OS is running on these file servers?
