Symantec Backup Exec 11d - Continuous Protection Server?

Hi,

I bought BE 11d last year, and decided now to install CPS to cover our main file server, however, I cannot find a licnese key for it?  The retail box says CPS, has the software and installation/usage manual, except no license key for it?

I tried to get on to Symantec about it, but no luck yet.

Any ideas?

you can find the license keys if you go to Backup Exec -> Tools -> Install Options and Media Keys on this server ( it will list all the existing keys on it).

hope this helps

It's not listed in there (I never entered a specific "CPS" licnese key - only for the main program and remote agents)

Googling it, it seems that a lot of people have the same experience

http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=11d+cps+license+key&btnG=Search&meta=

So it looks like I have to buy a seperate license?  but I cannot find it for sale anywhere?  or maybe im mistaken??
