How can I update the drivers to my computer without internet connection?

I have an XP computer that I have just reformatted, it's relatively new (6 months) and yet I can't find the drivers (cds) for it anywhere.  I have another computer which has access to the internet.

It seems you need an internet connection to update drivers using any of the available software solutions.  Obviously, without the ethernet drivers, I dont have an inet connection?

With the combination I have, how I can I update the drivers for my XP machine?  I'm not looking to pay anything if possible.

Can you recommend any software/solution that can scan for drivers offline (even just the names so I can dl them) and then plug into another computer to get the actual drivers?  I have tried Driver Robot and it didn't work.

Thanks in advance!

You don't say which machine you want the drivers for, but most manufacturers provide the drivers on their web sites.

Use another computer, go the the manufacturers web site and doenload the drivers - you can save them to a USB stick, then install them on your other machine.

I want the drivers for my XP machine.  I don't know which drivers I need so I need to scan for the driver names without an internet connection.  I don't know the manufacturers names either.
If you go to the manufacturers web site it should list all the drivers that are applicable to your system
