Flag for United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland asked on

setting up a subdomain in IIS

Hi there

I have got a couple of question regarding IIS and sub domains.
I currently have a folder setup on a domain eg

http://www.mydomain.com/mycode

I have a number of clients accessing the folder using the above URL.

I have been ask to add SSL security to this domain. Is the a way to setup
A sub domain that has an SSL applied to it and is mapping to the mycode folder? Eg

https://secure.mydomain.com

this would mean that new clients could access the https:// and old client could go through the http://.

If it is possible how do I setup a sub domain in IIS

Hope you can help

Thank

Mac
