To me it sounds like one service might have failed and then caused a cascading effect taking out all of the dependent services on the machine. Its hard to tell which one it may be though. <br />

If you look in services.msc are all the services that are set to automatic started?

Thanks for your help<br />
I couldnt get into service properites and check wich services relies on, <br />
so i check it on the registry and kill the unwanted process that was crashing the whole service tree<br />

Hi All<br />

everything was working fine untill i rebooted the server <br />
when it botted up before the login screen appeared a warning saying<br />
** some services could not start ****<br />
when i logged in i when to check event viewer but when i try to click on it it wont let me see any events.<br />
<br />
then i went to services.msc <br />
<br />
Extended tab is completly blank<br />
standart tab list all the services fine<br />
<br />
most the services are not running and when i try to manually start them i get an error <br />
** 1068 The dependency service or group failed to start **<br />
also properties window wont apperar when clicked<br />
<br />
Network connections folder is empty<br />
device manager shows network cards fine<br />
<br />
any first ideas on whats going on?<br />
