Tape media is getting ejected from tape drive whenever it is getting loaded

What is the drive? And have you tried restarting it?

this is a defect in the tape loading/transport mechanism.
Probably you get errpt messages:
Use errpt -d H or errpt -N rmt[x] to check.
Call your hardware support provider.

... I hope you tried loading different cartridges?
If not, do so, to make sure that the cartridge isn't broken.

Another possibility is a dirty sensor. But you will most probably need hardware support to have it cleaned, nevertheless.

As per tape ops update they have tried cleaning the head . No luck .

If only one cartrtidge shows that problem -> discard it.

I followed above comment . later week backup went successfull.
