Checking the performance on the win-server

Recently we have created new database on the server by adding the new external disk with Raid 5 models. Currently we are facing some performance issue while using this DB. I would like to know, whether Raid model/Disk controller or any other hardware related parameters causing the performance issue.

To diagnose the issue with Hardware level, can anyone can please advice how o check.
