Need assistant with ArcServe r12 alert
I've have a new ArcServe r12 host backing up few servers. The backup run fine. The only problem now is I can't seem to get the alert notification running.
I've already configure configure the SMTP setting in the Alert Manager. When I tried to telnet the SMTP IP eg. "telnet xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx 25" it is able to connect.
I've also configured the job details global option for the alert.
Is there any advice that you can give for me to check further??

I've checked the Arcserve alert activity log. It show "failed to send SMTP (80000005).
The server is on McAfee Enterprise 8.5, I am still figuring out whether there is any rules... but I am not that familiar with Mcafee... :(
