How to reset the admin account for Symantec EndPoint Protection Manager (sepm)

The Symantec Endpoint Protection manager has locked the administrator account since I have tried incorrect passwords way too many times. The problem is I have forgotten to save this credential  info properly so even if the account gets unlocked in next 15 mins, I dont know what the actual password is.
Is it possible to reset this password ..

There should be a Symantec guide here (or wherever you installed SEPM, if different):

c:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\Tools\reset_pass.pdf

I can post the contents, if you would like.
If that does not work for some reason, you could also try this if you use the embedded database. It's a little more involved, though.

Anti-virus software was originally developed to detect and remove computer viruses. However, with the proliferation of other kinds of malware, antivirus software started to provide protection from other computer threats. In particular, modern antivirus software can protect from malicious browser helper objects (BHOs), browser hijackers, ransomware, keyloggers, backdoors, rootkits, trojan horses, worms, malicious layered service providers (LSPs), dialers, fraud tools, adware and spyware. Some products also include protection from other computer threats, such as infected and malicious URLs, spam, scam and phishing attacks, online identity theft (privacy), online banking attacks, social engineering techniques, Advanced Persistent Threat (APT), botnets and DDoS attacks.
