SpeedTest on a remote computer

Hi all,
I have a remote desktop connection with a computer A. I run a speedtest at www.speedtest.net from computer A and the results i get are way too low compaired to those i get when i run the speed test localy (no remote desktop connection-just like someone sitting on the computer A).
I would be grateful if someone could explain to me the reason this is happening, and if there is a way to get the true results.
Thanks in advance

In order to get good results from tools like speedtest, the connection shouldn't be used by other services, as these are using those resources that you are wanting to test. It's like when you fully load your car with heavy luggage and you then compare it's top speed to when it only has you as the driver inside. You'll get a big difference in the speed.

You can only get reliable results if speedtest is the only service using the resources you are testing on the PC. So there is no reliable way to test this remotely.
