Hi thanks for the reply. &nbsp;I thought that it maybe a broken DC on motherboard and so the battery was not charging, but have jsut checked the charge icon on the battery and its full so the machine is def charging.

I have a HP Pavilion ZE4120s laptop which until recenlty was working great. &nbsp;I shut the laptop down a few weeks ago but when I went to turn it back on it wont boot (ie no fans or lights starting). &nbsp;<br />

I thought the battery was dead so i plugged in the AC charger and the orange charge light came on solid which it normally does when its charging. &nbsp;I left it for a while and tried again but still no luck. &nbsp;<br />
<br />
I have spent a few weeks now searching forums but havent been able to sort the prob so hopefully maybe you guys could help.<br />

I have a HP Pavilion ZE4120s laptop which until recenlty was working great.  I shut the laptop down a few weeks ago but when I went to turn it back on it wont boot (ie no fans or lights starting).  

I thought the battery was dead so i plugged in the AC charger and the orange charge light came on solid which it normally does when its charging.  I left it for a while and tried again but still no luck.
