Is it possible to connect my adsl router to a linksys RV042 VPN router and use the linksys router only for the vpn gateway to gateway tunnel and still keep my adsl router working for the internet. If yes can you tell me how to configure the 2 routers to work with each other . If NO then can you give me a linksys ADSL router that has gateway to gateway vpn tunnels like the RV042 but ADSL not Broadband. Thank you.

Your adsl vendor should be able to assist you in configuring the router for "bridge" mode.  This will assign an Internet IP address to the WAN interface of the RV042 router.  The Linksys is a great VPN router.

clarification: adsl vendor will assist in configuring the adsl router for bridge mode.  When doing bridge mode, there are often a few options.  One option turns the adsl router essentially into an adsl modem; in this state, you would configure the Linksys with the adsl username and password.  Another option keeps the adsl username/password authentication on the adsl router; in this state, the Linksys operates in DHCP mode.  One last option, when you have static ips, configures the adsl modem as the static gateway address; the Linksys can then be assigned on of the regular static ips on the WAN interface.

Well here in Qatar , ISP which is Qtel is really shitty so mostly no reply or they dont understand anything about that. Can you give me some tips on how to perform one of the above stated solutions like make my adsl a bridge and use linksys as the main router for everything . If you cant can you just give me a similar vpn router but that is adsl not broadband even if not linksys . all I want is to do gateway to gateway vpn using ddns and i think that router is the easiest and fastest way with no complications. Thank you.

Do you have an option to get a straight DSL modem (vs router) from ISP?  What brand is the device you have now?  Only reason to push this is that I am having great success using RV042 to create a full mesh VPN network between 7 offices.  Easy to configure, easy to use, allows for DDNS.

Exactly that is why I want to purchase and use but the problem here is that the ISP sucks and know how to answer these kind of questions and they only offer adsl routers . Currently I have a d-link one installed just plain simple 2540T. Is there no similar router to RV042 that is adsl lol sorry to ask that much but its just a good vpn router. Thank you.

How about getting something like this:

Linksys/Cisco offers products with ADSL interface, but then you're gettting into more expensive equipment and more difficult interface to configure.
