i am switching our email hosting from network solutions to godaddy.
all employees use outlook on their computers
i have each outlook pointing to the hosting account at network solutions

i will change outlook to point to the new hosting at godaddy

my question is:
will each employee loose the email contacts and emails that are currently in outlook?

my thought is that outlook is on each individual workstation and all of their information
is located there, so everything will look and act exactly as before with the exception of
who is actually hosting the email accounts.

thanks for your help

Once email is grabbed by Outlook, the email is on that system.     The Outlook contacts are also on the system.   All of this is in the PST file.    If your contacts are in a webmail (online) interface, then you would need to export those, but it sounds like this is not the case.

I manage 5 Godaddy accounts and about 35 systems with Outlook.     Your thought sounds correct from my experience.
