RDP Issue

We have been using RDP on a windows 2000 machine without any issues for quite some time but just started to have an issue.

We have 2 offices which are setup via a VPN.

Our 2000 server is 192.168.16.205 and have been able to RDP to this without issue until today, We try to RDP to any other machine in that office and it works without issue.

I also setup port 3389 to go to the external IP of that 2000 server and we are able to remote it that way without any issues.

If we remote into another machine at that office then remote into the 205 server it works. So I am stumped as to why external works fine, to another machine then to the server works fine but Head office direct to that server doesn't work.

The office there is able to ping and RDP anything at our Head office.

I hope this makes sense.

has to be something on the firewall.  power cycle the firewall and see if that resolves the issue
