Network Adapter won't install on Hyper V

server 2008 running hyper V with 2003 guest.  Dell T300 server  with dual broadcom netxtreme.
won't recognize the driver from the dell CD..so close to just using Virtualbox.  Plus the additions say i need a new version of windows?  anyone come across this before?  how can i get network working

Right-click the VM go to settings then network adapter install a legacy adapter. Make sure the 2003 server has SP2 installed as well.
