I have a user who has access to a network mailbox and is trying to situate a rule for that particular mailbox so that when certain mail comes to that box.  Then it will be forwarded to a folder that she specified. I know that you can easily set up rules on ones own mailbox but can she also set up rules for another mailbox that doesn't belong to her? If so, how?

These rules should be set from the server, not from the client system. She will not be able to set the rules for a Generic Mailbox.

You can try one more thing is that, try configuring the generic account as your primary mailbox and then try to set the rules. Hope this helps.
