Sharepoint problems

I have a user that is having problems with SharePoint.  There is a series of problems so I will list numerically...

1. She is prompted for user name and password when she clicks the link from her Favorites menu
2. She checks out the document.  It is an Excel document.
3. She makes changes to the Excel document, then clicks save
4. After a long period of time, this Microsoft Office Excel error pops up "The Internet address "http://ics.sites/Open Order Reports/Orders On Hold.xls is not valid. Type the correct address."   I verified this is the correct address.

Today I repaired Office, rebooted and had her try the SharePoint document save.  The login prompt still comes up (she has coworkers that do not get prompted for user name and password).  She still can not save the Excel document.

She uses Office 2003 and IE7.  Thanks for any ideas...
