change both border & font colors in dropdown box

so basically i want 2 different colors in my dropdown box 1 for the border another for the font...heres a copy of my code

i tried doing border-color & color at the same time but one would override the other and in the end both the font & the border are of the same color

i just want it to have a thin solid border of #eaa3b3 & a font color of #f87086
