I want to create a blog type system with images. I can probably figure out the text stuff however have no experience with images. The form is something like this ..

Header text
Content text
Image

I need it to create a thumbnail and make the thumbnail a hyperlink to large version (open in pop up window or possibly iframe), also need to resize large version if it's above a certain resolution. Would like image file names to be random. Also need to insert ID to allow for updates at a later time. The select stuff for images I need help with too.

Eventually there's a loop like this ..

Header text
Content text
Image

Header text
Content text

I looks forwards to seeing your suggestions.

My question is, how do I create this kind of a blog? Cannot make it shorter than that.

Thanks for links qawai, I know how to upload and resize already however I don't know how to insert image path to sql, or how to create two image from one (thumbnail and large) or how to select the images into htm. I'm after code for insert (form) and select (htm table).

Well if I can learn the following I might be able to do the rest myself. Upload image, insert image path to sql and select the image path(s) in a loop?

I think it might be easier if I work an existing platform. Anyone any recommendations?
