what is the difference between software in yours and his PC?

eg. are you using Flash8 and he using Flash CS3?

becasue he did not make the flash, so I am not sure how to get the info you needed.

but, it is very strange that I use the same pc and the same browser, it works when I connect to his server, but not mine, so I am thinking maybe there is some setting I have to set on the server?  thanks

im trying to understand the problem

forgetting about the server for a moment. What happens when you try to open the .swf on the client machine ? are you able to post a screenshot of the problem or the .fla itself ? (you will need to add .txt to the name if posting the .fla)

if you could plug it into a page and let the link appear on the same page (so the menu will be on the same page)

these two files are what I have...thx

please create a file called menu.xml

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<menu>
  <m id="" n="ABOUT">
      <m id="" n="ABOUT1"/>
      <m id="" n="ABOUT2"/>
      <m id="" n="ABOUT3"/>
  </m>
  <m id="" n="SERVICE2">
        <m id="" n="SERVICE21"/>
      <m id="" n="SERVICE22"/>
      <m id="" n="SERVICE23"/>
      <m id="" n="SERVICE24"/>
      <m id="" n="SERVICE25"/>
  </m>
  <m id="" n="SERVICE3">
      <m id="" n="Opening Jobs"/>
  </m>
  <m id="" n="LINKS">
        <m id="links_coming.html" n="Links 1"/>
      <m id="links_coming.html" n="Links 2"/>
      <m id="links_coming.html" n="Links 3"/>
      <m id="links_coming.html" n="Links 4"/>
      <m id="links_coming.html" n="Links 5"/>
  </m>

the .fla would be better if you have it. Add .txt to the end of the file name - then you can upload.
