Need help in configuring Vlan based QOS. Let me explain the scenario.<br />

Location A is connected to Location B through Ethernet Over SDH link (10Mbps). This are connected to 4506 switch in each Location.<br />
<br />
Have configured this to be trunk and have spanned some data vlans 10, 20, 30 and some voice vlans 101,102 and 103 through it.<br />
<br />
<br />
I need to configure QOS to prioritize and reserve bandwidth for these voice vlans. This QOS config needs to be applied to the trunk interface connecting these locations.<br />
<br />
Please suggest a suitable method for the same.<br />

How to Configure Vlan based Qos in cisco 4506 IOS switch

A switch is a device that filters and forwards packets of data between LAN segments. Switches operate at the data link layer or the network layer of the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) Reference Model and therefore support any packet protocol. LANs that use switches to join segments are called switched LANs or, in the case of Ethernet networks, switched Ethernet LANs. A hub is a connection point for devices in a network.
