SQL Server 2005 - Internal Connection Fatal Error. (System.Data)

I have a virtual dedicated server which I was able to connect to smoothly for the past 3-5 days. However, I'm getting the error when I try to connect to the database through the IP address. I can't seem to figure out why this problem is occurring.
