How do I force Vista Business to use Ricoh Twain driver instead of 2006 MS driver?

I'm trying to get my Ricoh IS-450 scanner to work on new Vista Business pc's. Vista keeps defaulting to the MS WIA driver from 2006 and I need the scanner to use the current Ricoh Twain drivers from 2007. When I try and update, uninstall reinstall, disable, reinstall Windows keeps telling me that the latest driver is already on my system. The Twain driver shows up in Adobe Acrobat but when I select it from the list it says the scanner is not attached to the PC. I can scan in the Windows Camera and Scanner import thru the photo gallery, but this won't let me scan in Adobe into PDF format. Also, the tiff's that come out in Photo Gallery are the wrong size page for the image even though i've set it up as letter size in the profile. I'm stuck with this and Ricoh is no help.

Try download from there base on the OS and try again.
