Modify variable name in SWF file

I've seen websites that do this for you; but I am trying to figure out how to do this myself.

I have some SWF files with the "clickTAG" variable inside of it; but the case is off; its labeled "clickTag" instead of "clickTAG" and the software I use to utilize that SWF file doesn't recognize "clickTag" and is looking for "clickTAG" instead...

So short of going back to the creator for this minor change, I would like to do it myself.

Thanks!

How about using the Find and Replace feature?
i attached a screenshot showing where to find the tool and it shows an example of the varible adjustment you're asking about.
It worked great for me.

Oh, be sure to make a copy of your FLAs before you use the find and replace tool.    Things can go wrong,  so either have your FLAs backed up or be sure to save before you make this change (so you can revert if necessary)

Perhaps I was not clear, I do not have the FLA.  If I had the FLA I could easily modify it.

I did find a piece of software that allowed me to edit variable names in a SWF directly..

That solved my problem.

Nice, looks like a handy utility for Flash 8 and below.
Congrats on your solution.
