Hi.. after applying various MS updates I can no longer open the Printer folder found in the Control Panel.  Consequently, no one in my domain can print thru the print server.  The server is Windows 2000 Server.  Nothing in the event logs to indicate the problem.

what do you mean the printer folder won't open?
is the print spooler running?  I would verify that the spoolss. service is running and if it is, stop and restart it.

Also, if it's running, what happens when you go through an "add Printer"?

hi all... thanks for the comments.  I was in a crunch so i went ahead and rebuild the print server.  I do apologize to all for my very late action to my question.
