We have a hplj 2605dn that is printing faded colors despite the fact that the toner levels are high.  we have also cleaned the printer and calibrated it also.  We tried various drivers (ie pcl6, postscript etc) all to no avail.   Any suggestions?

Is the faded colours like a shadow affect? Try upgrading to the latest version of the firmware version - this has fixed problems we've experienced in the past.

I had to take the printer apart and literally clean it out.  After I did this everything worked fine.
